This episode discusses chapter ten of the Bhagavad Gītā. Kṛṣṇa begins to discuss his origin and the origin of beings, and his being and the manifold conditions of beings originating from him. Then Kṛṣṇa describes the state and actions of those who know and are yoked by that understanding, and the results of that state and those actions. Lastly, Arjuna asks Kṛṣṇa to explain the divine manifestations of the ātman, in which Kṛṣṇa does finishing out the chapter.

The last question, "How is the supreme divine to be known by the harnessed ātmans at the time of death?," is discussed in the most detail.
