My name is David Beale, I am a US Army veteran and security professional. I am currently working in Europe as a Private Military Contractor and Close Protection Operative. I was born in British Columbia Canada and immigrated to the United States when I was 4 years old. I grew up in the Seattle area and tried out college and various jobs before deciding on joining the Army at age 25. I joined the Army October 2010 as a 13B cannon crew member. I served for 8 years in 10th Mountain Division and 2nd Cavalry Regiment. After 4 years being very cold in New York and 4 more years being very cold in Germany, I decided to end my time in the Army and move forward. I loved being a Soldier but I wanted more control over my life then the Army allowed. I separated in June of 2019 and moved to Poland where I started my new carrier in the security industry. As of now, I have 2 peace keeping deployments to Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. I also have 2 deployments to Afghanistan and multiple smaller contracts around Europe. I am a graduate from the European Security Academy and I continue to work in the private military and close protection industry. I am a big advocate of security contracting work for veterans and try to dispel some of the rumours and misinformation about the industry. In my time between contracts, I play homemaker, taking care of my two girls (during covid surviving may be a better word), working on the house, and keeping fit for my next contract.
