Janice is a Non-executive director, consultant and actuary with significant experience in the financial services sector including employee benefits, investments and financial planning. After starting her career at AMP, her actuarial career spans more than 30 years and has included a wide range of activities, including providing advice to companies, trustees and government; and managing people, projects and budgets.  Janice is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, a Graduate of the Australian Institute  of Company Directors and holds a range of professional qualifications and memberships.  Today Janice is talking to us about a topic that affects us all - resilience.   In this interview, Janice shares her reflections about:  Why the concept of resilience is important for actuaries, Her own experience of burnout and recovery, and Tools and strategies she uses to support her resilience One tip she has for actuaries wanting to build their resilience.  Thank you for listening to the We Are Actuaries podcast.
