For as long as he can remember, James has been fascinated by human development and been on a quest to answer two key questions: “What makes for a successful life?” and “What makes people change?” He thought he had all the answers as he spent two decades of his life traveling the world and rapidly gained “success” and recognition across various business, creative and spiritual spaces. Little did he know that he was slowly breaking apart inside and losing himself to unhealthy coping mechanisms and addictions. When he was finally able to confront the signs of unhealth in his life, he discovered that his view of success had been severely narrow and a new approach to living was required. He would embark on his own personal transformation journey and after years of “road-testing” his new way of living, James started LiveHolysticTM Coaching — to help people redefine what a truly successful life looks like and show them an alternate, more holistic approach to life.  James currently resides in Vancouver, Canada with his wife and their two sons and loves exploring the outdoors, meeting new people and playing music in a band.  In this interview, James shares his reflections about:  • How he defines “success” in his career, • The indicators people should look out for that suggest “unhealth” in their careers, and • Some common obstacles people find when wanting to define a more fulfilling career path.
