“So I get that this is called “We Hate Movies,” and that they talk about both movies they love and hate. Unfortunately, the vault episode of Jungle 2 Jungle made me realize how pointlessly bitter and unfunny this podcast can be. They spend quite a bit of time personally attacking an actor for not being more popular and having better roles… why? Actors are people too… maybe in the future there will be a podcast about each of these hosts, picking apart all of the jobs they’ve each had and ridiculing their perceived status. And it’s not even funny or entertaining, it’s just mean-spirited and tacky. They also make gross unfunny jokes that carry on for way too long while they fake-laugh at each other. A tad bit of class and tact would go a long way separating this from the worst of useless tabloid junk.”
