“I’ll admit Ryan has some ‘satisfactory’ insights and is probably pretty good at his job, but my god there’s no excitement or engagement from him and his guests. He doesn’t make any effort to really engage with what his guests are saying. Also after listening to a few episodes it’s pretty clear he doesn’t have a definitive style instead he just adapts his personality to his guests. Be who you are and stop adapting- take Mike Hosking, he’s the same across board. That principle needs to be applied to Ryan.
