“OG fan of the pod and longtime Patreon sub. It used to be the highlight of my week and topics were always engaging. Now the bulk of the episodes are spent on ad reads, shoutouts, begging for Patreon subs, and listening to voicemails. When an actual topic is covered it feels extremely phoned in. I’d never expect a particularly well researched episode from these guys, but at the very least they were fun to listen to and felt fleshed out. Honestly the way the pod has been running for the last year or so really feels like a slap in the face. Pod does not seem to care about listeners anymore (particularly if they don’t sub to the Patreon) and it’s been really sad to see what this pod started as and what it is now.”
