A necessary Fat witness
Love. Love. Love. This series so beautifully brings together authentic, vulnerable Fat voices to bear witness to our lives as embodied human beings. In a world where we are often deemed invisible or a spectacle, Ron uses his own experience, interviews with other Fat people, and foundational Fat politics to create a narrative where we are centered and seen in the ways the world demands we hide. It’s a great primer for those diving into these topics for the first time, and a moving story as Ronald and his guests get to the depths of our inner monologues and the implications on those around us. It’s not only informative and moving, but it’s brilliant, building storytelling. Ronald’s willingness to share and confront insecurities as the narrator really ties it all together. It is an honoring of Fat peoples past, present, and future, and I can’t wait to see what comes next!

The nuance, self-awareness, and insight the host brings to this issue is brilliant. Every fat person will feel seen and every straight-sized person will have their eyes opened. A really important podcast.

Hi! I only heard the first episode and I love the show already – it’s so valuable to hear from Ronald’s perspective as a fat man in this world. I’m learning a lot and it’s also very funny. Thank you!
