The title says a lot…
I love rap. I love weird music in general. Like every genre the stuff that gets the most shine is very far from the most interesting or progressive, and rap is just as dogmatic, possibly even more so. This podcast ticks a hell of a lot of boxes for me. Refreshing, thoughtful insights from brilliant minds, it champions a lot of music that is very dear to me, and has introduced me to a lot of really incredible work, but without any hint of narrow mindedness. Each episode covers a lot of different topics- it’s got Kool Keith doin horoscopes for frick sake! I mean if that doesn’t entice you to listen then there’s something wrong with you…

I never really listen to podcast because I mostly just listen to tunes but these interviews are very inspiring and feature some of my favorite artist to ever contribute to this culture. I learned about alot of music that was unknown to me and have gained much from lending my ear. Thank you:)

Exciting and meaningful- a collection of interviews, recommendations, fables and tales that engage like none other. Each episode holds layered structures of new insights for those honest few that make this music so captivating. The weirdos always know what’s up.
