“Highly recommended for both long time and new DC comics readers. I jumped in to reading DC comics at the same time DC launched its Rebirth line so this a perfect podcast for me to not only listen to a different perspective on the books but also keep up to date with other characters and storyline in the DCU continuity.
They review all the books from DC, a few marvel books (Brendan’s Marvel minute within the podcast is a HIGHLY recommended segment in the podcast for those curious about the Marvel Universe), a few else world titles and a some of the cross overs.
Unlike many review podcasts or broadcasts, they are NOT beholden or schilling to any company. They will praise the books they deem worthy of praise and they will slam books they deem unworthy of people’s hard earned money. Do not start listening to this podcast expecting this to be endless praise. This is a podcast for DC comics fans who love the DCU but are not blind fanboys to mediocre or bad products put out by DC comics.
I agree with most of their reviews and disagree with some. To their credit, not once have they attacked me or anyone else for disagreeing with their points of view on certain books, storylines or authors/artists.
Strongly recommend you at least try out their Patreon Exclusive materials.
