Recently, the universe has been estimated to be 26.7 billion years old. The observable universe is 90 billion light years across. Scientists estimate 10,000 stars for every grain of sand on earth. Basically, the universe is really, really big. Like incomprehensibly big. And it only stands to reason that somewhere, something is living here with us.
