Excellent reviews of books and two great hosts!
The two hosts, Livius and Robb, are obviously very good friends given their wonderfully relaxed hosting style. It really is just two friends having a discussion about the book they read that week. But it is also more. They discuss movies, other podcasts, TV. Occasionally they have "interlude" episodes, where they have no reviews, but these episodes can be just as entertaining, or even more so, than the review episodes. I don't miss an episode. Neither should you.

More reviews of Booked.
These guys are usually the best kind of non-sense, and always have a great take on books/authors/the biz/conventions, not to mention holidays/social justice warriors/conspiracies/ Robb’s beard/ and Eastern Europe, but mostly great, independent, small press stories.

Um
Haha "a good try by murakami" this is execrable.

There's an odd sort of glee to be found in Monday-morning-quarterbacking books with these guys. They bring a sense of honesty and fun to their reviews, and they frequently focus on the indie writers people should be reading (or in some cases, avoiding). Plus, Skip Papersly!
