If you like Scott Carrier’s work, you’ll love Welcome to LA
David Weinberg is a man to whom things just happen. Strange things, serendipitous things, odd things, funny things. Lucky for all of us, he always has a tape recorder nearby. Following in the footsteps of Scott Carrier, Weinberg’s unpretentious and approachable style draws the listener in as the strange episodes that make up his life unfold, making the extraordinary and outlandish figures he meets in his day-to-day life seem normal. Even if you’re not from Los Angeles, you’ll enjoy the kooky, the eccentric, and strange folks he meets, and find yourself looking for the oddballs in your own life.

So far I am enjoying this podcast very much. My favorite story is The Grifter. I love how honest he is about himself and his roles in these real life experiences. On top of that this man tells a great story. Update: yay, a new episode!! 😋
