Just a couple of mates sitting down and talking rubbish. There’s a bit of news, a bit of fun discussion, some trash. This is probably what #WTTGS was started for before we made useful content and couldn’t turn back. ——— T is hosting a red dot course at Magnum United on the 12th of September. This week we discuss the concept of outrunning your headlights and the misconceptions of shooting at speed. The ability to perform actions at a greater pace than the average shooter is being actively discouraged in many circles at the moment, we discuss why there’s value in speed and that having the ability to shoot at speed does not decrease your ability to shoot more slowly when needed. We sit down with Billy Rosslee from Magnum United Shooting Range to discuss their 18 range rules and the many many ways in which people fail to comply with them. A highly entertaining show on a serious topic. We should make a regular “Billy on the Range, tales from the sharp end of a boom stick” installment. Apologies for Corn’s poor audio quality, something’s up with his mic and will be corrected for the next episode. ——— Magnum United Shooting Range https://www.magnumunited.com In honour...

Three topics of discussion this week: Firearm groups getting deleted or flagged on Facebook for silly stuff, including very old posts Proposed Firearms Amendment Bill submissions closed and the potential for upcoming, expensive legal action Nationals and Selection matches for IPSC and whether there is a better way to do things. There is currently a national match in three different disciplines on three consecutive...

Let us know if you’ve ever had interesting observations while shooting or upon reflecting on your shooting. Please submit your objections, a 21 working day extension has been granted from Monday the 5th of July. That adds a bit of time to submit more objections. More on the proposed Firearms Bill. Many individuals and organisations have been focussed on the disastrous effect the proposed repeal of sections 13 and 14 would have on individual’s ability to defend themselves from unlawful attacks. This is excellent and we agree that this proposal is problematic and illogical. There are however more changes in this bill than the self defense changes, we take a small bite out of the huge number of changes and attempt to clarify why these will have huge...
