“This show holds so much meaning to my youth it’s the year I met my husband the first season during a surf and summer moment is when he blurted out I love you so unexpectedly and it continued into my college life where we would have OC Thursday’s followed by Thirsty Thursday and sadly cheering when Marissa died all while feeling such empathy for Ryan and falling more and more in love with Seth and Summer. And with the shell would be without Sandy, Julie, Kiersten and Jimmy. This show was the perfect show that emphasize life from an outsider the dynamics of the struggles of youth trouble do use more specifically with disposable income and life not being so easy even if it appears that you have it all especially for the adults one of my all-time favorite shows that I will never forget always look back on fondly. Funnily enough my husband had never seen the show when he told me I love you I would just give him play by plays on the phone it wasn’t until years later that we lived in a very desolate apartment with no Internet and all we had was DVDs and he was very opposed to watching this but I put it on anyway while I was making dinner he did not move from the couch once throughout that first episode and I knew he was immediately hooked.Again we were still very young just post college grad but during my college years and my senior year of high school it was all the rage and I am so excited to recap each episode with different cast members along with two of my favorite being the hosts of the show. Thank you for bringing such fond memories back already from the very first episode that I remember being so excited to watch and had waited weeks from advertising to get into this show. Josh Schwartz had no idea what a gem he had on his hands I truly believe it after listening to the first episode 🤍.”
