“Love the show and was extremely excited for the podcast. Over the last few weeks it’s turned more into a chore than a “must” listen pod. The main thing this lacks is structure. I think it would be nice if Melinda and Rachel went a little more in-depth on the scenes and character development. I like all the behind the scene stories the guests bring. The podcast hosts should take a page or two from The Ringer’s Rewatchables podcast and maybe have categories. They could perhaps have ones like “stock up/stock down” for characters each episode, standout quote, favorite outfit, favorite song etc etc.
I think this would add some structure and help with the flow of each episode. I’ll definitely keep listening since the OC is far and away my favorite show of all time but every time a new episode drops, it doesn’t automatically become the first thing I have to listen to, and I would like for it to be.”
