They pick and choose when to be opinionated
I’ve been listening to what a day since 2019 and it quickly became a part of my routine. I loved that it gave news while still keeping it casual, I loved the guests they would bring on for deeper insight. I also loved how they talked about different pressing issues in our country. Recently, the hosts (rightfully) express their frustration when state governments are moving backwards in terms of policies (Texas border policies, abortion laws everywhere, etc) but are eerily neutral about the US involvement in international affairs as well as not critical enough of Biden. The bias is clear and loud and the podcast has turned into a grab for sound bites and it comes off disingenuous. It’s turned me off completely.
