Who is this show for?
Miss the old show which was for fashion lovers, and hosted by the charismatic duo of Deni and Tam. I’m not sure who this show is for anymore? It’s “women’s fashion” at its most basic level. E.g. white sneakers, a trench coat, linen, and trying something “revolutionary” like straight leg jeans or the colour red. Not sure who the target audience is. Mamas returning to the workforce? Women in a 50+ demographic that aren’t sure or fearful of how to dress? It’s fine if it is, but I wish the show would be honest about that - it’s def not for fashion lovers or made by lovers of fashion. The show also insists that it covers shopping your own wardrobe but I haven’t seen much evidence of that. I also don’t gel much with the host, who seems lovely and like someone who enjoys feeling good in clothes, but this doesn’t read as her jam, she doesn’t seem to know fashion at and is very conservative. She’s likely suited for all things beauty. Shame - Mamamia would have me raptured if it managed to nail this.
