“I came to this podcast after stumbling upon Taria’s Instagram video explaining her experience as a Black woman in the USA and a Bravo lover. I love how this show is her response to that complex position through its platforming a wide array of Black voices with amazing insights into reality TV. She is uplifting her community with every guest and has introduced me to so many great content makers. Her non-Black guests are also very interesting, hearing everyone’s personal stories is a fascinating record of what makes someone empathetic to the struggles of others. In plain language, this is a great space to find unproblematic content makers, there are no “silent but complicit” faux allies here. This podcast really captures how complex 2020 has been culturally and politically. AND ITS FUN! I laugh so much while and I can hear the host really enjoying herself too. Great to listen to while cooking or cleaning! (OH and don’t think this show doesn’t have goooooood GOSSIP, because ooooo some of these people have some good sources ie Church ladies)!”
