“I have listened to every one of the Wilson sister’s WHY podcasts, and am starting to wonder why. They have received some justifiable criticism in the past for being snarky, and though they made strides in correcting the issue, they keep falling into laughing condescension of others. They forget their audience is outside of the car. Frankly, if my sisters at church were joking so haughtily at another’s expense as Bekah and Rachel have in the last several episodes, I would walk away. There is nothing winsome for me to grow by or worth recommending others to tune in to. I’ve tried to overlook it, because I know they laugh at their own silliness and foibles, and there are some sins and ways of thinking that are best called out by mockery- but this ain’t it girls.
I’ve benefited greatly from many of their conversations & will give them a try in the future. Maybe at some point they will actually have more time to consider what words they put out for a global audience beyond the SUV. I feel they have much to offer and hope they can do so with grace & wisdom.”
