“I quite enjoy listening to this podcast when I am at work. It gives me a fresh perspective on subjects I have already heard and or researched myself. I would love to pick his mind or at least give him a copy of my book just to hear his honest opinion on it. The subject matter is of the strange and the occult, it gives that and much more. I am unfortunately, not on patreon and I have no time to scroll through discord or its servers. Heaven knows I did a lot of that in my streamer days. Will you learn something new from this podcast and its host and guests? Yes. It all depends on how you approach this podcast. Like any situation in life, hit the pause button. Check inventory and drink your health potion, do anything that helps get you ready to hear and listen. Come into any of the episodes with negative emotions or even if you get pulled out of the mild hypnotic pattern you would normally get when listening to something you enjoy. Just take a moment, You can’t view on an empty stomach and you certainly can’t learn anything if you are fighting the host to begin with. Not gonna lie, when Doug is all alone, it feels empty, I wanna hear someone chime in like in iron chef with questions. But thats just how the dice rolled in that case. Would I like to hear the full unedited recordings from start to finish with the hiccups and the burps and reality left in. YES. I wanna hear an honest derp moment and then laughter, because those have a better listening experience. Thats just my opinion, the episodes would seriously be four to five hours long. But I also wouldn’t mind that as well, really talk, thats the topic that was chosen. Hiccups and back tracking and correcting. Listen to it, support the guy, Im saving up for it. Cus, if you made it through this rant about the show… you probably like the show as well. Cheers mate!”
