“In a lot of ways I really like this podcast. Doug is knowledgeable and has a lot of good practical advice. But mixed in with the good is a bad attitude. He has a chip on his shoulder about the Golden Dawn. Ok fine. But he also says it doesn’t work and that it’s some kind of tragedy that people spend much of their lives on a magical system that isn’t real. There are a lot of people who would disagree with this, but I guess they are all wrong and this host is right. It especially doesn’t make sense in the context of the clear influence chaos magic has had on Doug. From a chaos perspective, what is it about any magical system that wouldn’t “work”?”

“Really good podcast in that it offers some new stories in some of the histories and makes great, though be prepared for some shaky philosophical definitions (especially if the host doesn’t like the topic) and a whole lot of telling people their system is wrong.”
