“I have no objection to advertising supporting podcasts or other media, and I try to listen to and support the advertisers whenever possible, if appropriate — I think that’s only fair. But the advertisers for this particular podcast are distasteful, and the style with which the presenter reads them makes them even more repugnant. I fear for the future of this series if that’s the support on which it relies for production funds.
Otherwise, any true crime fan will enjoy it, although the material is not particularly original.”
