I have enjoyed the odd Mark Steel’s In Town show, but one episode of this is all I will take. This was a dull sequence of badly related recent news and political scandals, interspersed with two guests. One was a female performer with nothing much to add, the other Mark’s son, with a tragically shallow outlook, for example wishing to vent his frustration with pandemic restrictions by coughing in the face of elderly conservatives hoping to kill them off and stop them electing more idiot conservatives.
