Finally caught up!
After promising Luke that I would listen to this a year ago, I finally got a chance (unemployment) to listen to everything in full. This podcast is like sitting down with old friends, mostly because it is, and on top of that, it is very compelling fiction. The character work of Thomas, Luke, Jesse, and Natasha is something on another level, and Kevin is a detailed and talented storyteller. It had me laughing so much at the camaraderie that I had to stop everything I was doing to wipe tears from my face, and the same episode had me on the edge of my seat at surprising choices and reveals, and then heartbroken to see someone so broken down. I’m literally so proud of my friends for this podcast

The basement opens onto vast expanses. Excellent improvisors, positive vibes, unconventional characters, 6 simple machins, dudgeons, dragoons, and more!

I found this podcast through a reddit post, and I am glad I could get in at the beginning. I look forward to seeing where the adventure goes.

As an improvisor and fan of all things nerdy, I’m really pumped for this show. Been looking for something new - and yes, heard about it from the incredible K.R. rap intro to If I Were You. Keep on keeping on, looking forward to the first episode!
