“First of all I want to say that I LOVE this podcast and I love Jaci and Chelsey! I have been listening since the beginning and I have listened to every episode. I am only writing this review because I feel like this podcast needs some constructive criticism right now. In the past year or so the episodes have gotten a little stale and the ad breaks have gotten longer. I think the biggest reason for the stale feeling is the energy. Both of them are not bringing the same fun energy as they used to and both seem very beaten down and bleh. I understand they have both gone through a lot with becoming moms and life stuff(and I do not doubt for a second Jaci’s journey through IVF and infertility has been extremely hard). But I feel like they are no longer as intentional with it or are having fun anymore. I would even prefer if they cut out Friday episodes if they are feeling burnt out if it meant they would have more fun recording. I also think the beginning segment has gotten too much. I was never one to dislike the life updates because I do love chitchat but recently it feels like they aren’t updating us on much and it’s either about reality tv or something very surface level. If there is not much to say I feel it’s better to jump into the meat of the episode instead of wasting 20 minutes in the beginning. Also I don’t like how they put disclaimers in front of a lot of things! I want to hear what they really think! I do not want them to be exactly as they were before because I understand people change and grow but I just want them to bring their old passion back into the podcast. To end on a positive note- two episodes I really enjoyed in the past year was the one about female friendships and the one where they researched things they didn’t know about! Also here are my podcast requests: another episode with Abbey, another things I don’t understand episode, maybe some funny stories from living in LA(their personal stories), funny traveling stories from them(personal stories and submissions), I would love to hear them talk about their past job experiences(Jaci about early days as an influencer, wedding photographer. I feel like Chelsey had a few different jobs so it would be interesting to hear about those!), the details of their weddings and what they would do if they were getting married now!”
