“This podcast is great. Although the two guests sometimes are unfamiliar with the bigger cinematic contexts discussed (the Jeffrey Jones/Howard the Duck disconnection a notable moment), the behind-the-scenes stories are well-researched and engagingly told. The frustrations and hubris on exhibit in the course of producing some of favorite, and least favorite, movies makes for compelling storytelling. I find myself moved by the co-hosts’ empathy for the filmmakers and their often Herculean task of bringing a film to fruition while attempting to overcome the many hurtles in their way. Good stuff!”
