Over the past year and a half Maverick Citizen has been working on the often under reported area of food justice which covers areas of food systems, food sovereignty, malnutrition and the right to have access to sufficient and safe food and water particularly for children as envisaged in the constitution. This prologue explains the area of food justice and why it is imperative to our wellbeing. Some of what we eat is slowly poisoning us
