Description
Welcome back to Where do I go from here? On today’s episode, Katie and Annmarie are chatting with the incredible Mary Hulgraine. Mary is an all star ladies Kildare footballer, a mental health advocate, a gym owner and an inspiration to many women out there. She shares her inspiring story of battling addiction and showing us that the strongest thing you can do, is ask for help. Mary's addiction to drugs and alcohol was a coping mechanism for dealing with childhood trauma. Although she had an extremely successful sporting career, she still felt alone, and fought with suicidal thoughts. Ultimately, it was her love and devotion to her dog Bailey that saved her life. Mary shares a few instances where another person's act of kindness was the reason she is still here today. The smallest of kind gestures, can make the greatest impact in someone's life.
