Today's episode of Where do I go from here? is with Sian Horn, founder of Elite Pilates Cork city, ambassador for Lulu Lemon in Cork city, Founder of The Club Women's Network and business Consult. Sian went through an extremely difficult journey with her fertility, suffering from 7 miscarriages and nearly a decade of trying different methods to try and have a baby with her husband. On this episode, Sian shares her journey with learning about her body and her fertility. They began with IVF, but after multiple failed rounds resulting in miscarriage, her egg quality was finally brought into question and they realised that this could have been the issue. Sian shares that if the medical experts had looked identified this sooner, it could have prevented so much loss and grief for her and her husband. Sian tried absolutely everything she could to try and have a baby. She tried IVF with an egg doner, and when that resulted in having to have a termination, she was left thinking Where do I go from here? After years of stress, grief, and loss, her and her husband sat down to try and create a new picture for the rest of their lives and move on from the traumatic past few years. Sian ends the episode telling us how much she loves her life right now! She has so much meaning and purpose in her life and wants to be a voice for the women that have been through infertility and who haven't had success with IVF.
