Hearing the Unheard
I was captivated within the first few moments as Jesse Betend begins telling Angelica’s story in a conversational way that encapsulates you and assimilates the feeling the audience is in the backseat of this car eavesdropping. The definition of homelessness is not just the person without a roof as Angelica’s story goes on we follow her through different housing situations that are only band aids on a bullet wound. The first two episodes grip at your heart strings and will command your full attention.
