5 star quality neglecting context
An outstanding first episode and my critique may turn out to be premature if further episodes address whole history of the period in question, but I am not optimistic given the way mass media operates with respect to what matters. I could rephrase above more optimistically by saying this podcast should be the media template and point of reflection for the public who have never come to terms with the genocide in Indonesia that would take place in same year. It’s not whitesplain or whatabout. Media are afraid of looking at their own complicity and consequences in the continued cover up of the true perpetrators of the major political assassinations of the 1960s. At least this podcast isn’t projecting the outdated model of checks and balances as public access to political power. Does anybody read these reviews?

Well researched- committed scholars, will definitely use this teaching. Well done and thx to the two scholar-researchers. Great interviews - I’m curious do either of you think that it was possible to push the sole living juror harder, in retrospect?

The first episode is fantastic. As an Alabama-native I’m typically wary of things that try to dig into the mind of the South, but this one appears to be a well researched, deep dive into a story that has been swept under the rug. I can’t wait to see how it plays out.

Intriguing true story... hooked from the beginning. Love how the producers are looking at it from all angles, not just a one sided. Can’t wait to hear more episodes!
