The Snuts are a compelling force in the British rock music scene, hailing from Whitburn, West Lothian, Scotland. Formed in 2016, the four-piece band consists of Jack Cochrane (vocals/guitar), Joe McGillveray (guitar), Callum Wilson (bass), and Jordan Mackay (drums). Known for their infectious blend of indie rock and post-punk revival, they bring raw energy, poignant lyricism, and dynamic musical arrangements to the table. The Snuts made a significant splash with their debut album, ‘W.L.’, released in 2021, which topped the UK Albums Chart, making them the first Scottish band in 14 years to achieve this feat with a debut album. Their work is distinguished by its evocative storytelling, where narratives of youth, love, and loss are enshrined in soaring choruses and rousing guitar riffs. They’ve managed to carve out a unique space in the contemporary rock scene, one that pays homage to the past while pushing boundaries in the present.
