“All was going 4-star-well until the Kim K praise (the same Kim K who capitalises on everyone else’s culture to boost her worth). For a podcast that explores social media phenomena, one would think you would be more aware of how detrimental the ideals Kim K pushes online are for everyone else’s culture (hint hint anyone who isn’t a white girl). This isn’t a review calling you to cancel her or yourselves (because cancel culture as we know it is a weird fad anyway - there’s an idea for your next episode), however, it’d be nice to hear you girls perhaps explore the real cultural borders that social media creates. Or let’s hit closer to home - ‘why do white girls on Instagram insist on using black/latinx/asian culture as part of their aesthetic?’. We’ll be looking forward to hearing your 30 minute take on that. Passive aggression aside, I do enjoy your show, but it’s a pity it’s so buttery.”
