Helpful ideas, but their style is not for me
I read Wife for Life several years ago and enjoyed it, so when I was looking for a new podcast and saw this one, I gave it a try. However, the style of this podcast is so distracting to me that it’s hard for me to enjoy listening to it. The “active listening” (which is a good thing during in-person conversations, but not when you’re trying to listen to one person talk at a time in podcast format), in the form of constant “ah-ha, “mmm,” “okay,” and other little comments she makes constantly while Dale talks is very distracting to me. As is their constant laughter and banter. I’m truly happy that they enjoy each other’s company, but it becomes a little too much. If they could tone that down a little, it would enable them to move to their main points more quickly, and this podcast would be greatly improved IMO.
