“A combination of my two favorite topics! Well presented by two PhD’s who dive deep into singular crimes perpetrated against the world’s flora and fauna. Culturally sensitive and unbiased while concentrating on the plight of the plants and animals. The unvarnished truth about the stakes involved and the reasons why the criminality continues (greed or need, vanity or superstition). Topics covered are intriguing and often stunningly complicated, with lots of money changing hands. It seems the native peoples and biodiversity are the most likely collateral damage. Themes I hope they will cover in the future would be fur farming and trapping, seal hunting in Canada’s Atlantic Provinces and the ongoing disaster of industrial agriculture.”
