A beautifully lilting conversation about wild food.
I first got to know Daniel Vitalis through the Rewild Yourself podcast, which I loved. And though I miss the diverse topics covered in it’s precursor, the Wildfed podcast provides as much breadth in the field of foraging and hunting. A profoundly important under discussed alternative to the modern way, Daniel and his team deliver intelligent, mature, in depth discussion of all things wild food. We need these pioneers to remind us all that the natural world is our home and provides all the sustenance we could ever need. At it’s most basic level, nature is our true and only culture. As a side note, we live in rural BC in the mountains. If you guys ever want to come educate on the foods to be had in the Rockies, you have an open invite!

For someone who grew up hunting and fishing, but hated talking about it as a sport, this podcast and overall approach is refreshing and peeks my curiosity with wild food in general!
