“The January 16th episode with Donnie Vincent is exceptional. I am in my late 50’s, have hunted since I was a young kid. I was a wildlife biologist in Michigan for ten years before I had to get other work to make more money so my wife could stay home with our kids. I met hundreds of ‘bubba’ hunters and huntresses during that time, and I was always bothered by the contradictory and polar attitudes of ‘hunter/conservationist’ and the seemingly almost hatred of the animals they pursue (i.e. ‘sky carp’, ‘just a doe’, stinky ole bear, etc.).
Donnie Vincent’s (and Daniel’s as expressed on the show) attitude toward wildlife and the utilization of wildlife and wild things as food is so refreshing and important for others to hear - hunters and non hunters alike.
Well Done!!!”
