Coincidence or not?
Doc McGhee who organized the Moscow Music Peace Festival where the Scorpions were “inspired” to write Wind of Change was arrested in 1982 for smuggling 40,000 lbs of marijuana from South America. Doc got convicted in 1988. Paid a 15,000 dollar fine and got five years suspended. I would think that’s a pretty light sentence for 40,000 lbs. He has claimed in interviews that organizing the concert was some sort of community service. Great podcast! Can’t wait until episode two!

Narration and writing were awesome! I downloaded Spotify just so I could binge it. Don’t get caught up in the end results just enjoy the ride!
