We've got another local-ish case to our show brought to you by Mel today! In 1990, a Florida woman was gunned down in broad daylight on her front porch when she opened it to someone dressed in a clown costume carrying balloons as though delivering a gift to the home. But since this is a true crime podcast, the delivery was not the kind of surprise the residents initially believed it to be, and just a couple days after the woman was shot, she ended up dying from her injuries in the hospital. Though the victim's family and the community had some pretty solid ideas on who might have been involved in this attack, it would take more than a decade before this story saw any sort of resolution following a series of crazy twists and turns along the way.
