Must Listen
Love this podcast, I listen every week without fail. I have learnt more listening to this brilliant podcast than from reading 10+ books on wine. Love their format, their topic choices and their honest, no-frills discussion on the most interesting aspects of wine. Meg Brodttman is a Master of Wine, which really is a remarkable internationally recognised qualification (and was one of the first Australian women to become an MW). Yet for all she has achieved, she has no lofty airs and graces about her. It is hard not to hang off every word she says about wine-making, varietals, production, marketing and packaging. Mel is passionate, experienced, friendly and engaging, and bounces ideas effortlessly off Meg, highlighting both of their unique expertise. Both Meg and Mel have the ability to de-mystify some of the more complex aspects of wine for beginners, while being insightful and profound enough for those who are further along in their knowledge and appreciation. Highly recommend.
