An unpretentious stiff drink for your Red Wings soul
This podcast is the best. Relocated to the Baltimore area (where the few people who follow hockey tend to support the Caps) about a decade ago and have been listening for ~1 yr without missing one. Quickly learned that what initially seemed like unrelenting cynicism was actually just tough love. Ryan & Brad deliver methodical analyses in an unassuming and self-deprecating manner as well as a comfortability as if they’re sitting on your couch. Occasionally there is a guy named Kevin or Evan or something. Their criticisms are reasoned and they’re willing to change their perspective with new information - an uncommon quality among fans rabidly loyal to any team, and they certainly have Wings rabies. Even if you aren’t particularly interested in the Wings, they give takes on all major hockey happenings and often highlight worthwhile but less mainstream stories as well. You’ll never regret subscribing.

Ryan, Brad and (sometimes) Evan really know their stuff. Solid hockey analysis of the team, their play and other stories from around the league. Definitely recommend to any Detroit Red Wings fan.

This should be, without a doubt, the official Detroit Red Wings podcast. Keep up the great work guys, and try not to work Evan...Read full review »
