When leaving to backpack the world this year, we always intended to return to our campervan in Vancouver and drive to the East Coast in July. This is the fifth episode of the USA road trip as we leave Christmas Valley and head west towards the coast. We get derailed by a forest fire on our journey in this and suffer our first flat tyre of the road trip at 13,000 miles in!
