“I really want to love this podcast, and keep coming back hoping the creators are still working out bugs. I think this is SUCH an interesting and important story. But there is entirely too much time of unedited interviews played without enough summery, context and narrative to match it. Yes, there’s explanation, but it’s not storytelling, just a podcast of recorded interviews being played back. This is 1. Redundant because there are so many players in the story who are all similar and 2. Difficult to follow bc the redundancy makes it hard to stay engaged. I feel like I’ve heard the same stories and recounts OVER & OVER. For example, the off-duty cop working security is replayed and recapped to the moon. I get his testimony is incredibly important, but I feel like I’m reading court papers instead of engaging in a podcast. I’m not trying to attack, just offer constructive criticism bc I believe this case is important to solve and there’s a lot of potential if the edges are smoothed out.”
