Thoughtful and data-driven
Meghan and Amy put an academic lens on an almost commercial podcast subject. These cases are of real people and real families are grieving over the loss of their loved ones. The hosts do an amazing job of drawing compassionate storytelling while adding data-driven and academic insights to each story. I am often waking away from each episode learning something new or gaining a new compassionate lens to victims and perpetrators. Thank you Meghan and Amy!

Right mix of banter and info. The hosts have a great rapport. Sounds like you’re just listening to two (educated) best friends chatting about a case.

Pretty well done. Interesting stories and analysis (at times). Sort of bothered by how much the hosts hyuck it up over people’s potential mental illness. Not sure if because it strikes me as problematically obtuse or I just think they’re goofy
