Jacky struggled with suicidal thoughts following a lifetime of self-harm and eventually attempted to take her own life. From this experience, RunningSpace was born, and in 2019, Jacky was awarded the BBC Unsung Sporting Hero award for her life-saving running groups."A friend said to me, 'When you run, you're the pioneer of the prevention of suicide.' I thought that was ridiculous, and I cried and asked what I should do about that.
