Brilliant concept for a pod!
As a lifelong Democrat (I was 16 working everyday after school at Lowenstein/McCarthy HQ on Long Island) I love MSNBC and love that many of my favorite “regulars” are disgruntled Republicans, especially both of you (and of course Nicolle Wallace & Richard Steele.) The concept of having Elise interview Steve was brilliant. Following that up by having Elise deliver the final monologue was equally creative. It’s great to hear you both speak for more than two minutes as a guest on one of the hourly MSNBC shows. Steve’s rant about the necessity of the two party system was a revelation. Talking about the leadership of Lincoln in the 19th century & FDR in the 20th was fantastic. Now Steve has to interview Elise. The only connection I ever made between both of you & Nicolle was that you all worked for W. PS. If he wasn’t so boring, Bill Bradley would’ve made a great president. Thanks for the pod!

Hosts with “voice fry” turn me off from listening to what could be an interesting podcast series.

With great historical insight—I learned a lot from the first episode. It takes courage to voice unpopular opinions in our current climate. We need...Read full review »
