Firing Line
Loved Buckley’s vocabulary and interviewing style, as a grade schooler twisting that plastic UHF dial to watch Firing Line. However, even as a young person I could sense his closeted bisexuality and feel his dislike of gay people...I actually watched his on-air fight with Gore Vidal during ABC’s 1968 convention coverage which nailed conservatism and the GOP’s hatred of my personhood in my own young mind during a time when that hatred could mean my complete social rejection. Hard stuff to forget, specially after the 30 year struggle for acceptance... However, I enjoy you two on MSNBC and find your ideas more accepting so will listen to your podcast. A 3rd party might be the only way until the Trumpublicans die away then there will again be two but that 3rd party must stake out the economic interests of the ordinary American, the owners and creators of businesses smaller than the alleged small businesses (500 employee as opposed to 1 or 2 in many tiny operations struggling to make it in the unfree marketplace of the present day GOP and Trump. Much luck!

The subject is NEVER the commercial reader, even if he's a co-host. Jordan should have read the copy or everm...Read full review »
