“If you are going to slander an entire group of Christians, who believe in the sovereignty of God in all things, you should know what you’re talking about.
“Calvinsts” do NOT believe that God made Adam sin. This is absurd and shows a total lack of understanding on this issue. Those who believe in the Doctrines of Grace know that God leaves men to their own sinful desires in order for his will to be accomplished. God cannot sin NOR can he cause man to sin. He doesn’t have to, man just wants to sin all the time. It’s not until the Holy Spirit regenerates the heart of man that he can do anything good and not have sin reign over him.
God raised Pharaoh up for his own purpose. He raise up Judas for his own purpose. Does this mean that God “caused” these men to sin? Why didn’t God stop these men from doing the terrible, sinful things they did? Because he has his own, decretive will which will be done. Man is depraved by nature. He is born this way. He comes out of the womb speaking lies. God doesn’t make man sin, man sins and the sovereign God works ALL things out according to his own will and for His Glory.”
