“I started binging the show during my first reread of Wheel of Time. In the beginning, it was a relatively focused, fun show analyzing themes in what has quickly become one of my favorite book series. Around the time Patrick left, however, the show lost its focus. I love Aradia as a host, but her and Seth just don’t focus on the actual chapter. It started to feel like half of the episode was just unrelated or loosely related tangents about random things, or even worse political rants that are incredibly one-sided. Everybody is entitled to their political beliefs, but I didn’t start listening to a Wheel of Time podcast so I could hear people’s politics.”
